Inspired by watches like the iconic Chronosport UDT and Sea Quartz 30, the SQ30 Eclipse Black-Ion blends classic military style with new solar technology. In serious situations, standing out can be deadly. That is why special forces loved the low-key black case of the original UDT watch. Other traits of the Chronosport UDT also remain — it's legible, reliable, low-maintenance, and most importantly, still affordable. The fact that solar movements are also better for the environment, result in fewer batteries ending up in landfills, have longer service intervals, and come standard with a 6-year warranty is not so bad either.

The original 1980s Chronosport UDT was famously worn by many special-operations military groups around the world, along with celebrities like Sylvester Stallone in Rambo III. The original Sea Quartz 30 was also famously worn by Tom Selleck in Magnum PI.

We believe in sustainability through durability. Solar-powered watches require less servicing and result in less batteries used over the product's lifespan. With solar watches, we also provide a 6-year warranty out the box, no 2-year service intervals required. The solar movement charges in any light, allowing the Eclipse to run for up to 6 months in pitch darkness.
