Before starting Momentum, our founder Simon and his family owned a watch company called Chronosport. In 1977, they launched one of the first-ever analog quartz diver’s watches, the Sea Quartz 30. The brand became so popular that it was soon sold in almost every serious dive store in the US and Canada. This watch was also famously worn by Tom Selleck in the first 3 seasons of the hit show Magnum PI.

Many customers have asked us whether we could make the original design with the steel case and add a solar movement option. You asked. We listened. Now available with the latest solar movements, these watches are better for the environment, result in fewer batteries ending up in landfills, have longer service intervals, and come standard with a 6-year warranty!

Avant de démarrer Momentum, notre fondateur et président, Simon, possédait une entreprise appelée Chronosport. Le Chronosport UDT original des années 1980 était porté par de nombreux groupes militaires d'opérations spéciales à travers le monde, ainsi que par des célébrités comme Sylvester Stallone dans Rambo III. Le Sea Quartz 30 original a également été porté par Tom Selleck dans Magnum PI.
