La montre originale Magnum PI
Au début des années 1980, CBS a lancé la série télévisée Magnum PI. Situé à Hawaï, il mettait en vedette Tom Selleck. La série s'est régulièrement classée parmi les 20 meilleurs programmes télévisés américains pendant plusieurs années, terminant au numéro 3 pour la saison 1982-1983. Et la montre que Tom Selleck a portée pendant les 3 premières saisons ? Bien sûr, il s’agissait du Chronosport Sea Quartz 30 original.

Histoire authentique, meilleures performances
Les modèles Sea Quartz 30 des années 1980 se sont construits une clientèle presque culte auprès des fans de Magnum, des plongeurs et des fanatiques de montres. Pour les rendre fiers, nous avons recréé le Sea Quartz 30 aussi fidèlement que possible à l'original. Notre lien historique avec Chronosport nous permettait d'envoyer des boîtiers, cadrans, aiguilles et lunettes authentiques directement à nos usines afin qu'elles puissent analyser et faire correspondre le design. Bien entendu, nous souhaitions apporter quelques améliorations clés. Le cadran, les aiguilles et la lunette sont désormais dotés de C3 Super-LumiNova pour des performances lumineuses considérablement améliorées par rapport à l'original. La montre originale comportait également une lunette et un verre minéraux, qui ont été remplacés par un saphir inrayable pour une durabilité inégalée. Ce que nous n'avons pas changé, c'est le design emblématique.

I know what you're thinking......
And you're right, this watch is amazing!!! First rate fit and finish with sapphire crystal and screw-down crown. (Good luck finding these together anywhere else for under $300USD). The handset balance takes a little getting used to, but I understand the criticality of discerning minute from hour hand on a dive. Bezel operates confidently and the second hand hits the marks over half the time. Speaking of movements, this Ronda unit is a class unto itself. I've lost less than a second in two weeks. (Yes, you read that correctly.) Only gripe is the longevity of lume charge. I'm giving serious consideration to adding Momentum's GMT model to my collection as that serves as an outstanding imitation to Magnum's Rolex GMT. Bravo Momentum!!!!
Perfect watch
I love this watch. The quality for price is unreal. Some online reviews reference the seconds hand not hitting the markers, bezel being too stiff or loose, and the lume not being sufficient. I have not experienced any of these issues. Momentum seems to have taken these critiques and fixed the issues. The bezel is a bit stiff but that's what you want in a dive watch. You don't want to knock it out of place. You won't regret this purchase!
Great Watch!
I enjoy this watch as it is comfortable to wear, not too big and still decent size for my large wrist. I love the styling and the simplicity of this timepiece in this day and age of over sized and featured watches. And the build quality is great.

Lots of compliments on it. If I had to pick a fault, I would agree with some of the other reviews about the second hand not lining up with the markers. I truthfully wouldn't have noticed on my own.
