Inspired by Icons
Before starting Momentum, our founder and president, Simon, owned a company called Chronosport. The original 1980s Chronosport UDT was famously worn by many special-operations military groups around the world, along with celebrities like Sylvester Stallone in Rambo III. The original Sea Quartz 30 was also famously worn by Tom Selleck in Magnum PI.

Solar-Powered Movement
We believe in sustainability through durability. Solar-powered watches require less servicing and result in less batteries used over the product's lifespan. With solar watches, we also provide a 6-year warranty out the box, no 2-year service intervals required. The solar movement charges in any light, allowing the Eclipse to run for up to 6 months in pitch darkness.

Diggin' it
The Momentum people are top notch. I ordered an automatic by mistake. I was able to get through to customer service quick enough to get some help. He said he would cancel the order and start over with a new order for the Solar model. It's a beautiful piece, and the lume is crazy cool. Sizing the bracelet is easy enough that this cave man could do it. I have a feeling I'll be spending more money here. The USPS really dropped the ball. Delivery took 2 weeks from the shipper to Michigan. Momentum has nothing to do with that. I would pay extra for next day, or second day air.

I love this watch!
This is a great watch, both functionally and aesthetically. It has earned a place in my regular rotation, and it’s just plain fun to wear. Looking forward to summer when I can pair it with a Hawaiian shirt (unfortunately, no Ferrari).

I like this a lot
I bought mine last year in the Black Friday sale. I really like it. It wears smaller than the 42mm size might imply despite my 7 1/2 inch wrist. Highly legible and on the jubilee bracelet is very comfortable. The bezel is a little stiff but I understand that it loosens with time. Not a big deal for me as I don't dive - I just like the style. Timekeeping is good and I very much like the Solar charging as it means that I don't need to open it for (I hope) many years. The clasp is too stiff for my liking and doesn't feel as good quality as the rest of the package. Mind you that means that it won't come undone accidentally. The customer service is excellent - you do actually deal with a human being. The delivery charge to a small island off the UK coast was well worth it as the order came with a map indicating my house on google earth (?) and delivery was fast. All in all, an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. One nice personal touch was that the watch was already set to my time zone.

A really good watch for the price
I really like the looks of the Sea lineup (Sea Quartz, Sea Auto, SQ30 Eclipse) and wanted that "Magnum P.I." look. I have plenty of automatics so I was looking at the grab-n-go benefits of a quartz movement. When I saw the SQ30 Eclipse was the same as the Sea Quartz, but with the improvement of solar charging, it was a no-brainer; this is the watch for my purposes. The looks do not disappoint and that's what I'm most happy about. Legibility is good, and importantly the seconds hand, even without my reading glasses in the morning when I'm timing my coffee brewing, though the date is completely unreadable without my glasses. The dial is busy looking with the 'in-between' minute markings the same length as the 5-minute graduations (in contrast to the bezel which is visually a better design when it comes to the minute markings) but it's still easily readable. The orange minute hand, which doesn't match the long-lollipop minute and seconds hands, is perfect and I love a dive watch with that distinction! The bezel action is disappointing. It's much harder to turn than it should be. I would like to see that loosened up a tad. I'm hoping that it may just need a break-in period. The bracelet is a mixed bag. If you got a strap then none of the below applies to you. - Pros - 1. The jubilee-style is just so comfortable! This is my first bracelet of this kind and I can see why it's a popular style. 2. The milled clasp has 6 steps in its number of micro-adjustments and I really like that and use it. 3. Quick-release spring bars! - Cons - 1. No diver's extension. While not a deal breaker, a dive watch needs a diver's extension. If you plan on diving with this then get the one with the strap or else have a strap available. 2. The worst fold-over clasp I have ever dealt with! I literally have to smack the fold-over to lock down. I even took a Dremel and ground a bevel into the inner wings of the fold-over to help it engage with the retaining spring bar -- not easy to do with the limited space to work within -- and that only marginally helped. I have read the other reviews and no one mentions this so my guess is that I got a bad one (hey, it happens). Overall, this is good watch and I definitely recommend it.

Love the watch
Watch quality is amazing for the price, only issue I have is the Lume does not last long enough.
