At last: the perfect solar everyday
I’ve had the Smokejumper for a month now and the 38mm is a perfect size for all around activities (work, play. Camping, cycling, yard work). I had wanted a solar field for a long time, but the options were 40mm (too large for comfort) and 36mm (too dainty for even my small wrists). The 38 is spot-on. The in-wrist feel is featherlight and the knurled adjust knob doesn’t rub the skin at all. I’ve worn it camping and loved me is bright enough to read in the wee-hours and the early morning. This watch slots in right between a Tag Heuer Aquaracer and a Vaer Solar diver and it easily gets the most wrist time. Well done Momentum!
Great watch
Always wanted an all black watch. It is attractive and light. This is after a couple of weeks, so too early to see how long the finish lasts. Does well with a black or light brown strap.

The Smokejumper 38mm Solar Watch so far has been a fully operational watch that seems ideal for my needs. The only change I have made was to install a Times velcro watch band that I prefer as it does away with the traditional fiddly normal band closure. Much more convenient and it fits my wrist better. When I sent the really old St. Moritz Professional 200 in to be analyzed, Dave in the service department was perplexed by the state of that watch as he hadn’t ever seen such a failure. I can’t explain what happened to it other than it was quite old. Dave also mentioned that I would be eligible for a 30% discount on the purchase of a new watch. I never did receive any discount. but perhaps you can rectify that situation by sending that 30% amount for the purchase of the Smokejumper. All the best, Mike
